Move over crafty creations! In the 皇冠体育官网 elementary art program, students learn to use a variety of media and explore famous works of art and artists in order to gain a better understanding of the process of making and creating art. Children learn that God is first and foremost the greatest artist. We are made in His image and are born with the desire to create.
Children explore their inner creativity while taking on exciting and challenging art projects that are all sent home at the end of each school year. This portfolio of work is a treasure for not only the students but for the parents as well!
中学美术
The 皇冠体育官网 中间 school art program explores different cultures and historical periods through 绘画, 画, 版画, 陶瓷, 和雕塑. Students learn more about themselves and others through art exploration. They realize that God has given us all special talents, it is their job to explore their talents and use them for God’s glory. We explore this through art production, art criticism, art history, and art appreciation.
高中美术
The 艺术 1 beginner class teaches students basic 画, 绘画, 版画, 和雕塑 techniques, as well as three-dimensional design processes. 在艺术II中 & III, students focus on technical 画 skills, color theory, and spatial engagement. Students also begin to find their own personal voices and styles.
In 皇冠体育官网’s 陶瓷 class, students learn the four basic methods of construction. They then create both functional and sculptural works of art.

美联社艺术
Advanced Placement 艺术 is available to the more serious art student. AP art students can earn college credit by passing the AP exam, which is portfolio-based. Students submit a cohesive body of work in the spring to the College Board for grading. This portfolio must demonstrate a specific conceptual and technical idea.
